Purchase Guide:
PARTS

Please read the following guide carefully. It explains how to download and use Parts from the catalog, and describes the terms and conditions of their use.

Download Instructions

1.Start the download by clicking "Download" on the part catalog screen, and following the prompts.
2.Save the Part Package file (.swpkg) to your hard drive.
3.From within the Visual Welder™ AddIn, choose a holder within your project that must contain the new part.
4.Right-click the holder, select "Fill From Package", and choose the .swpkg file you just downloaded.

License

Please read all license agreements carefully. To help you get started with sembleWare, many parts are offered free of charge. However, sembleWare may introduce parts for which there is a charge. If so, we will attempt to set the price so that in all cases it is far more benefitial to purchase a part than to create it yourself.

When you purchase a part, you are purchasing the right to use that part in a single application that you are building. By "single application", we generally mean a system that compiles to a set of executables or dynamic link libraries that are deployed together. There is no runtime fee, in other words you may deploy this application on as many servers or workstations as you wish, and the application may be used concurrently by as many users as you wish. However, if you use a part in another application, then you need to purchase a separate license for that part in that application.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, COPYING OR REPRODUCTION OF A PART TO ANY OTHER WORKSTATION OR SERVER OR TO ANY OTHER LOCATION FOR FURTHER REPRODUCTION OR REDISTRIBUTION IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED.

Trial Use

You may download a part for trial use. There is no charge to do so. The allowed use of a "trial" part is to study it to see in detail how it functions, or to include it in an application you are constructing to see if it meets your needs. You may demonstrate such an application to prospective users or customers. However you may not use a trial part in an application that is deployed in a "production" environment - that is, an environment where it is being used for the purposes for which it was designed to the benefit of its users.

If you download a trial part and then use it in a production environment, then you must first purchase a license for the part. If you use a trial part as the basis for one or more modifications to create a new part which is used in a production environment, then you must purchase a license for the original part.

Copy Protection

In most cases there are no copy protection or expiration features within trial parts. In general it is possible to download a trial part and deploy it in a production system without ever purchasing a license and paying for the use of the part. However, if you do this then you are in violation of the agreement between us relating to part usage. If you distribute such a system, then you are distributing pirated software. Also, you would be depriving the authors of any parts you have used from revenues which they have earned, and you are consequently harming a new industry of part creation that could have tremendous benefit to the software industry.

Warranty

PARTS ARE WARRANTED, IF AT ALL, ONLY ACCORDING TO THE TERMS OF THE LICENSE AGREEMENT. EXCEPT AS WARRANTED IN THE LICENSE AGREEMENT, OBJECUTIVE, INC. HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH REGARD TO PARTS, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
